Jitterbug Drink Label
This is a project where I created a bottle label for an alcoholic beverage, in this case, coffee liqueur. Along with the bottle label I created a short AR experience that you could access through the QR code on the back of the bottle.
After choosing a name and the direction of the label I made some digital versions of the logo and I started working out the label.
Here are some of the many color studies I did once I got closer to the final label. At this point, I was still trying to perfect the arrangement of text. I chose to go with the rectangular container for the label because it was inspired by coffee bags.
Here are the final labels. I chose this color scheme because I knew the tan color of the outside container would stand out against the dark-colored liqueur. I also chose this color scheme because none of my other color schemes were able to balance the idea of coffee and fun as well as this color scheme does. Finally, I created a jittery effect with the word 'Jitterbug' and it was strongest in this color scheme.
